Clinical Services
The Underwood and Lee Clinic serves as a dental home for people with neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities (ND/ID). This means that we provide a wide array of general dental services to our patients. It also means that if the services of a dental or medical specialist are required, we will take the time to work with that specialist to ensure the best possible clinical results.
Our skilled doctors and clinical staff utilize low and mid-level behavior management techniques, which allow us to treat greater than 98% of our patients in our dental suites on the clinic premises. Less than 2% of our patients are taken to the operating room for comprehensive dentistry under general anesthesia. This referral rate is significantly lower than the national average of 25%.
